Spiral Wire Cassette Resistance

Spiral wire cassette heating elements are heating elements consisting of thin metal wires connected together and usually round in shape. These elements are assembled together inside a cassette and an electric current is used to generate a specific heat.

Structure of Spiral Wire Cassette Resistors

The structure of spiral wire cassette resistors can have many different designs, but generally have a similar structure. The cassette is shaped like a box or cylinder, usually made of stainless steel. In it, spiral wires are joined together and covered with an insulating material. The gaps between the spiral wires allow heat to diffuse into the medium to be heated, such as air or liquid.

Spiral wire cassette resistors generate heat using electric current. An electrical source outside the cassette supplies electric current to the spiral wires inside the cassette. The electric current heats the spiral wires and this heat heats the air or liquid inside the cassette. Temperature controllers on the outside of the cassette control the temperature inside the cassette and cut off the electric current when necessary.
